We had a really fun time at the zoo, I asked Emma what her favorite animal at the zoo was and she said, "the peacock feathers." As you can see in the picture she was really close to the peacock, as it was strutting. It was a really big day at the zoo, little did we know, it was the opening day of their new, "Wild Colorado" portion, where they have moose, mountain lions, grizzly bears, bald eagles. There were many bus loads of kids there and several TV stations.
It was pretty exciting when the grizzly decided to take a swim in the tank while we were right there. After a second Emma jumped back and then Garrett followed. The moose was pacing around and the zoo keepers there looked a bit concerned, somethings was just not right with him.
