Garrett....mama

I have been trying to teach Garrett to say his name. I will tap on his chest and say, "Garrett", and then on mine and say, "Mama", and Emma's and say, "Emma". When Garrett has tried to say his name, it comes out. "G..da". Now he walks around the house tapping on his chest saying, "Mama, mama, mama, mama". It is pretty cute.

You need a new pickup.

Baby chicks

Emma, Garrett, and I had the wonderful opportunity visiting some friends today who just got some baby chicks this week. The kids were both excited to look at them, but not real sure about touching them. They also have a giant rabbit, actually called a "flemish giant", the rabbit followed Emma all around their large fenced in yard, and was lying on the ground panting after doing this for about and hour and a half. I can't wait until we have a large yard for the kids to play in and maybe a few animals of our own, besides just Gus, he does not do much to play with the kids.

Just to give you an idea what it looked like. I included the before and after, he really looks like a little toddler now! The picture from before was yesterday, it insisted onsitting on that little drum, needless to say he fell off a few times.
