Garrett loves to play peek-a-boo, he laughs so hard when he throws his hands (wide open over his face). He was eating so good with a spoom I had to get a picture and then Emma had to have her picture taken too.

Getting cabin fever.

We have had some nice days were we can be outside and then today, when it was supposed to be 50 degrees, it snowed a majority of the day, it did not stick though. So it has been getting long for Emma and Garrett being inside. We already can tell Garrett is going to want to be in out all the time. When he wants something he will open and close his hand repeatedly while pointing toward it and say "ugh, ugh," which he does a lot while standing at the screen door.

We went out to eat tonight and Emma hands me her coat while waiting to be seated and, before know it she is down on the floor doing a summersault. Maybe I will get a video of her doing one and post it soon.

Garrett stared walking a lot now, since Thursday. Before that it was only accidently, when he was not thinking about it. This was Friday morning. Too bad the dog got in the way. It was the best I could get.

Whiskers

A week and a half ago Rob had guard drill, so he had to shave his gotee off, and I said something about his whiskers growing back. Then Emma replied "boys have whiskers, just like cats have whiskers."

K-Love or Caleb?

We were sitting at table eating lunch, with the radio on.
Radio: "More music K-Love"
Emma: "We have one of those, Uncle Caleb and Auntie Sharon."

Brown Bear Brown Bear...

This morning Emma read a book to Garrett and I. If you know this book you will appreciate it. It went like this:
Emma: "Brown bear brown bear what do you see?" Flips page to see what is next, then back to previous page. "I see a red bird looking at me. Red red bird what do you see?" Peeks ahead again to see what animal is next, then back. "Orange, orange duck what do you see? I see a blue horse looking at me?".....and on through the whole book.

If you have spent much time around Emma you know she loves to read! She is my little book worm. But Garrett is starting to sit still for books a little bit too.

Lasik follow up

I went in for my two week follow up and my eyes are now 20/15. Very pleased with that.

Early Spring?

Two weeks ago we had a really warm few days here (and no wind). So my friend Karin and I took our kids to the park. It was a little hard with Garrett, he wanted to be down on the ground crawling in the wet rocks. So we only lasted about 1/2 hour.
